Thomas Reid is the Global Technical Director for Compact Container Systems and specializes in developing and supporting CCS’ container aftermarket support services around the globe. Mr. Reid has over 43 years of experience as an intermodal equipment maintenance and repair professional in the shipping and intermodal industries. Mr. Reid has a longstanding container background, focusing on aftermarket support services. His most recent venture was managing the maintenance and repair of Hamburg Sud's entire global container fleet, a division of Maersk. Reid excels in office administration, equipment repair, labor supervision, equipment surveyor, facility and motorized equipment management, corporate M&R projects, new equipment build inspection and specification, and establishing M&R repair practices and policies. Mr. Reid has worked in 29 countries around the globe and possesses a documented solid track record of M&R cost control and implementation of effective repair policies for front-line M&R personnel.
