Mr. Santos-Buch is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Compact Container Systems, LLC, and a Partner at AE Industrial. Mr. Santos-Buch has over 44 years of investment banking and private equity experience. Over his career, he has been involved in over $30 billion of capital market financing and M&A transactions. Mr. Santos-Buch led the transaction origination efforts at UBS Capital, LLC and UBS Capital Americas, LLC for over a decade, identifying investment opportunities across various industries, including aerospace and specialty industries. Mr. Santos-Buch founded the Financial Sponsor Coverage Groups at UBS AG and PaineWebber Incorporated. He has also held senior leveraged finance and sponsor coverage positions at CIBC World Markets, Oppenheimer, Alex. Brown & Sons, and Kidder, Peabody. He has focused most of his career on industrial, transportation, logistics, and other specialty industrial markets. Mr. Santos-Buch was named Chairman and CEO of Compact Container Systems, LLC in 2014 and has since developed the Company’s 5:1 foldable ISO shipping container, the SeaFold 40’, into an innovative solution to supply chain problems for the transportation and logistics industries.
